We believe that God revealed and initiated His unparalleled and unprecedented love for humanity and who He is in Jesus Christ, and because of Jesus, we can have a real, life changing relationship with God. The first word of our name is the Greek word “agapé,” which conveys this meaning – the completely undeserved and sacrificial love of God. We began in 1984 at the University of Maryland College Park. Today, we have fellowship communities on fourteen college campuses in Maryland, DC, Pennsylvania and North Carolina:
· American University
· Carnegie Mellon University
· Community College of Allegheny County
· Duke University
· Georgetown University
· George Washington University
· Howard Community College
· Johns Hopkins University
· Maryland Institute College of Art
· North Carolina State University
· Towson University
· University of Maryland Baltimore County
· University of Maryland College Park
· University of North Carolina Chapel Hill
· University of Pittsburgh
We are a college ministry of the Agapé churches located in the Washington DC/Baltimore area, Pittsburgh, PA, Chapel Hill, NC, and Paris, France. For more information about us and what we believe, please visit our website: www.agape-churches.org.
