Day Four – Mind of Christ

1 Corinthians 2:14-16

14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments, 16 for,

“Who has known the mind of the Lord
so as to instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.

Reflection:

Once we did not accept or understand the things from God and we thought them so foolish.  But not anymore!  Because of the Spirit, we are no longer bound to the mindset and wisdom of this world, but can now understand and live out a cross-centered life.  We have the Mind of Christ!  We can understand God’s plans, thoughts and actions.  We not only understand them, we can live in God’s plan empowered by the Spirit of God.  We can know God’s thoughts- God’s wisdom and the Spirit taught words – to think and speak. We now can live as Jesus did, imitating Him more and more.

Responding to the Transmission:

Let’s be encouraged that we have the mind of Christ and we can live cross-centered lives.  Let’s pray that we will live more in God’s plan, thinking more of God’s thoughts and imitating Jesus more.
