Day 3: Faith Continuing to Grow

Philippians 1:9-11 (NLT)

9 I pray that your love will overflow more and more, and that you will keep on growing in knowledge and understanding. 10 For I want you to understand what really matters, so that you may live pure and blameless lives until the day of Christ’s return. 11 May you always be filled with the fruit of your salvation—the righteous character produced in your life by Jesus Christ—for this will bring much glory and praise to God.

Reflection:

As the church is encouraged to continue to grow in the Lord, we’re also encouraged to continue to grow in love, in knowledge and understanding, to understand what really matters so that we may increasingly experience the fruit and blessing of being people of God.  It’s the long progress toward the same direction. Not settling or getting comfortable but to keep moving, to keep growing, to become more like Christ.

Responding to the Transmission:

Let’s pray that our heart’s desire is to continue to grow in Christ, not to settle but to continue to mature and experience the fruit and blessing of being God’s people.  Let’s pray that we will continue toward the same direction and as we know the Lord, we will bring much glory and praise to Him.
