Hebrews 11:7b (NIV)
By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

2 Corinthians 2:15-16 (NLT)
15 Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. 16 To those who are perishing, we are a dreadful smell of death and doom. But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume. And who is adequate for such a task as this?

By God’s grace, we are called to be a fragrant offering rising up to him. To some around us, we are an aroma that brings life, and to others, an aroma that brings death. By God’s favor and blessing, may we faithfully live out our calling in the places he has called us to be.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, in response to you, we live as living sacrifices. Empower us by your Spirit today to live our lives faithfully. By your amazing grace, we follow the footsteps of Jesus and the cross-shaped life. May you receive the glory from our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, may our churches encounter you and know you more deeply. Oh God, we seek you. May we intimately know you. Revive us, revive your people. Revive our prayers with new prayers. From the youngest to oldest, give us faith and passion like never before. May there be radical surrender and obedience like never before for the glory of your name in this generation. We await testimonies to arise from amongst us. Thank you so much. In Jesus’ name, amen.

As we have all received from our last Agapé Churches conference, we have never been here before. Let us exercise our faith today and seek God at this moment. What are the new things God is saying to you and doing in your life? What are the new things God is saying and doing in our churches? Let’s be alert, be present, and be ready to obey as we believe and receive.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, we have never been here at this moment. We seek you today, available to see and hear the new things you are doing in my life and in my church. Help me to be ready to obey you in the new things you have for my life and my church. May we move forward in the new and unprecedented things you have for us. In Jesus’ name, amen.

18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

We can do unprecedented acts in faith, because God is the God of the unprecedented. God acts in unprecedented ways. God’s plan of salvation for humankind through the sending of his son is unprecedented. He calls his people to accomplish his unprecedented plan of salvation by faith. Let us believe that we are also to participate in the unprecedented salvation works of God today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your unprecedented salvation plan revealed through the sending of your son, Jesus. May you receive the glory, honor, and praise from our lives. In faith, we say yes to participate in your unprecedented works of salvation in our generation. In Jesus’ name, amen.
