Acts 16:29-31 NIV – The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”
Whatever the mess, or the chaos or the brokenness of life that we need saving from, the answer is the same, for there is only one answer for salvation: Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—you and your household.
This is the incredible reality of God’s salvation that gives supernatural faith to those who believe. Today, may we receive this fresh empowering of the Lord to both believe and to boldly preach to those who are in the prison/dungeon of sin and death. May we be a Paul and Silas for others.
Today, let’s pray for our churches to receive supernatural faith as we witness the Lord unfold his plan of salvation in this generation. As we pray, let’s also worship with the song “How great is your love” by Phil Wickham (Click here).
Prayer: Father, we pray for your salvation plan to unfold in power and in miraculous ways. Lord, empower us as we minister to this generation that is in desperate need of your salvation. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
