And the Lord said, “I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the Lord, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
This is the reset that Moses and the Israelites needed, where the Lord speaks directly to the people, and causes all of his goodness to pass in front. As the name of the Lord is being proclaimed, the people are shown again the blessing of living under God’s mercy and compassion. How many of us need a reset today? That the Lord would cause all of his goodness to pass in front of us, where our old jaded thoughts, broken emotions, bitterness and anger are confronted by the goodness of the living God!
Today, let’s pray so that we will experience another reset, where the truth of the gospel will permeate and change us. Let’s also pray that any and all issues that we go through in life, in Christ we will see God’s goodness overtake, overhaul, and change the narrative to speak of God’s goodness shining through in the midst of life’s darkness and tragedies.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, we thank you for your supernatural goodness in our lives. We ask for another resetting moment of faith, where your goodness and love are what marks us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
