Day Five: Jesus Lives in Me Brings Life Passion

Matthew 6:33 NIV
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Revelation 4:10b-11a NIV
They lay their crowns before the throne and say:
11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God,

    to receive glory and honor and power…”

“Biblical faith is not passive… it is an active reliance on God and His promises, often in the face of impossible circumstances…Biblical faith is always linked with obedience. Believe that God’s promises are true! God will empower us with his passion to seek first his kingdom that many more may have Christ dwell in them. This is the passion we hunger for! The crowns we lay down at his throne are the lives who proclaim, “Jesus lives in me!”

Let’s trust the words of Ephesians 3 and pray them today for ourselves and our churches and ministries:

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ”
