Day 1: In View Of His Mercy

Let’s read aloud the following passages together:

Romans 3:10-12,21a,22-24 (NIV)
10 “There is no one righteous, not even one;
11 there is no one who understands;
there is no one who seeks God.
12 All have turned away,
    they have together become worthless;
there is no one who does good,
   not even one.”
21 But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known…
22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Romans 5:8-9 (NIV)
8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Romans 12:1 (NIV)
1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your true and proper worship.

Prayer: Father, thank you for the fullness and totality of your mercy, through Christ, in my life! In view of your total mercy, I offer my whole life to you today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
