On this Monday morning, let’s turn our eyes upon Jesus and linger in his presence as we read and pray according to this passage and prayer.
7 How priceless is your unfailing love, O God!
People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
8 They feast on the abundance of your house;
you give them drink from your river of delights.
9 For with you is the fountain of life;
in your light we see light. (Psalm 36.7–9 NIV)
O God, you have created all things by the power of your Word, and you renew the earth by your Spirit: Give the water of life to all who thirst for you, that they may bring forth abundant fruit in your glorious kingdom; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
(The Book of Common Prayer)
Let’s worship to “Touch Of Heaven” by David Funk (click here) and spend a moment praying for yourself and for those God brings to your heart.
Prayer: Father, give me the water of life for today. Give my brothers and sisters this water of life today. We are thirsty for you. Refresh us; renew us; recharge us; give us fresh energy to live for you. In Jesus’ name, amen.
